Ijen is a nature tourism park (TWA Kawah Ijen) run by BBKSDA Jawa Timur, the East Java conservation office. Tickets are sold online and collected at the Paltuding counter, and the crater shuts on set days each month.
Booking moved online with a trial from May 2026, for visits from 18 May. Because the ticket cannot be changed, pick your night after checking the closure days. The certificate rule is on the health page.
